Tour Plan

day 1

After checking in to your hotel, our English-speaking tour guide will take you on a tour of the West Bank. The West Bank is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to many of Egypt’s most famous sites.

First, visit the Tombs of the Nobles and the Valley of the Kings. You’ll also have the chance to see the Temple of Deir el-Bahari, which is a little further out from Luxor city center but well worth a visit. You can see many statues of the pharaohs here, including King Tutankhamun, who was discovered buried inside his tomb. Next, visit the Temple of Ramesses II, also built during the 19th Dynasty. The temples are surrounded by an intricate system of canals that were used for irrigation and transportation.

Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, built during the 18th Dynasty and one of the earliest examples of female rule in Egypt.

Finally, visit the two colossal Colossi of Memnon, built by King Amenhotep III to house his mortuary temple in West Thebes and later taken by King Merneptah to build his own temple.

After visiting these amazing sites, we will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

day 2

In the morning, take a hot air balloon ride over Luxor Temple.

It’s time to explore the East Bank of Luxor! Return to your hotel for breakfast before checking out and heading to visit the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious sites in Egypt, with over 20 temples spread across its vast area. It was built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III, expanded by Ramses II, and restored by Alexander the Great during his conquest of Egypt. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Luxor Airport for your flight home.
